Yep, happy with that one, nice feel for the game and went looking for the ball late, quicker than expected too, 8/10 performance to start off with considering his inside half was that guy lol.

Yeah I was pretty impressed.
His physicality on D was what surprised me the most. Pretty clear he’s got some serious class about him and he went looking for the ball more and more as the game went on.
It was against Toowoomba so I won’t get too excited yet but it’s a good spot for him to build from

Only saw the 2nd half. Was very good on his feet to score a good try with a good swerve and drew and passed well to Francis to score.

Best thing I thought was he actually looked like he had a feel for the game which I didn't expect at all, Timing was a bit off but that'd happen to anyone and was more in attack.
Was really impressed, poor opposition but way more promising then I was expecting even for that level in his first game.
Edit: Seeing the Tweed boys get around him constantly was good to see, you can tell he's a good bloke at the very least.

If Carter Gordon keeps this up, more than happy to let Sami go (I know a few clubs would take him straight away).
Let him go and free up some salary cap, that centre spot which can be filled by Francis, CG, AJ or Beau.
Free up some salary cap to get JC and Kini signed long term.
Excited for next year with Tino and JJ back + Mo and the emergence of Randall, Clarke, Pahulu, Klese + a wild cards in JAW.

Starting Props - Tino & Mo
Starting 2nd Rower - Fifita & Beau
Lock - Randall
Bench - JJ, Clarke, Klese, Pahulu (depending where AJ plays)
Bench thought process:
- JJ our steady reliable prop who does all the 1% effort areas
- Clarke our Spencer Lenui hard runs, fast play the ball running at tired defenders
- Klese improving game by game and can play 2nd row or lock (cover if outside backs go down)
- Pahulu is a little Mo, takes tough carries and makes good post contact metres
Would like to see some size added in the off-season to Randall, Klese and Clarke. All have good work rate and think with a little extra muscle will make them even better.

I saw Sarginson that night he got bashed by the security who was a cool dude from Jamaica *Sarginson said some wild shit apparently* while at Burleigh Hotel, That was grim, Him getting beaten and ragdolled by the 5'9 security guard...
