So what’s the go with Dave? The report was saying he’s still recovering from his ankle but then all the clubs posts have him training in them?

Love Moey and he's easily been one of our greatest players, but i'm very concerned about him moving forward with 141 games already under his belt at age 25. Not to mention his weight (which will get harder to manage as he ages) per Titslover, and his often very visible decreases in effort over the past couple seasons. One of my absolute favourite Titans but if someone from the future told me his play and effectiveness rapidly fell off around age 28 i'd fully believe them. May even start to see some this season actually.

My eyes are cooked but he looks pretty fit now at least, He did look a bit bigger at the start of the season but Des doesn't let them train with the team I think if they're overweight.

I think it's a bit of a trend around the league with the big boppers who have had to play a bunch of games, A lot of them IMO are falling away due to there being to many games. If he had Tino or some more help consistently through the year would his down form have stood out as much? He played 26 games last year including the Tongan tour to England which made him miss quite a bit of the pre season, He didn't get picked this year so I can see that being a bit of a wake up call.

You could see Moe hit a bit of form from around Round 10 against the Cowboys which is probably when he got to what he should've been fitness wise if he hadn't missed a big chunk of the pre season, Was up like the rest of the team then died in the ass. His form probably stood out more because when we really needed him when Tino went down, JJ was the one who stood up in the pack and Moe was missing basically when you'd hope/think he's meant to do way more.

The 2 down years for Moe have been 22 and 24 compared to his better years, They are both years he went to England and didn't come back with full pre seasons and quite shortened ones and like both you guys mentioned he's probably got to be more careful then other props.

If he's down this year again, Then I'm going to be a tad worried, These boys have been playing way to games/minutes carrying the team since basically 2021 and it more then likely will come back to haunt like JT13.

The Titans have been dealt an injury blow with Reagan Campbell-Gillard sustaining a shoulder injury at training.
The experienced prop is expected to miss the next month of full training but will be back for Gold Coast’s season opener against the Bulldogs in Round 2.
