2025 Season General Discussion

Now they want to roll into the GC? With Burleigh, it's only a matter of time before they fall out. Broncos feeder arrangements have been the kiss of death over the years. Brothers. Aspley "Broncos", Clydesdales. Logan Scorpions. Wests Panthers.
It was my understanding the "so called" stars were too good to come down to play for a team in the beautiful city
Burleigh Bears season finish
2024 7th (Donkeys)
2023 1st (Titans)
2022 1st (Titans)
2021 3rd (Titans)
2020 2nd (Titans)

The arrogance and doublethink of the Broncos is breathtaking.

On one hand they have stooped to really petty turf wars with the Dolphins. Calling them not Brisbane and "Redcliffe". But using that same logic you would exclude their own fans from Redlands and Logan.

At the same time they are fighting a local battle with the Dolphins who have made massive inroads into northern Brisbane.

Cowa and Titanic are dead-on about the crisis in the Gold Coast media. It's to a great detriment to the Titans.

Losing regional news and papers has been tragic for communities and journalism. It's sad to see the the so-called digital age and "information super highway" we were promised.

There is plenty we can do to help. Keep those ideas bubbling. 2025 is the year we put them in play.
I’m down to run a community podcast as long as you accept our tryscoring lord

Burleigh wanted our first grade talent and didn’t want to play our systems from what I remember and tweed were more receptive

Well Channel 9 Gold Coast had a rugby league segment today solely on the Broncos with Ben Hunt, the Bronco players living on the Gold Coast and their upcoming Trial on the Coast.

Not one mention of the Titans.

They can close the local station for ali I care if they continue to be a promotional vehicle for the Broncos.

Do we have any info on what if any changes we have made to our pre season training.
IMO for the final trial in 2024 and then definitely the Dragons opener we seemed to have “heavy legs” and maybe got the tapering wrong heading into the season.
Be interested to know other thoughts

The fascination and frustration with the Courier-Mail on this forum is really interesting IMO…just remember the Brisbane Broncos is 68.87% owned by NewsCorp which owns and runs the Courier-Mail which monopolises the newspaper market in South-East Queensland. Why would they build excitement in our club to the detriment of a major part of their portfolio in the Brisbane Broncos…they job is to report or many would argue create dramas and/or division in their competing rugby league clubs whilst downplaying any dramas in their own considerable investment. I personally think bugger the Courier-Mail and their diminishing influence in today’s content consumption model…more and more people today are seeking their content through podcasts, YouTube and social media such as TikTok etc. Have you noticed how many players are now vlogging and have a strong content creator presence…all clubs can do better but it costs money and investment in people and equipment to do it well. I’ve been watching what the Roosters, Rabbitohs, Sea Eagles and others are doing with YouTube videos and it is super impressive story telling…they curate the story they want to tell and most importantly own the content, which is absolutely a must, especially if we rely on an outdated and clearly biased media source in the Courier Mail to do our promotion.
We as a club like all others need to be our own content creators at a level that is targeted and taps into the emotional connections we all have in our club.
Considering the size of our club I don’t think we do too bad.

What is the coverage in the Bulletin like?

Very keen to watch this, production looks great and will be cool to get a good insight into Tino.

I have no doubt hes gonna come back just as good if not better, he seems the type to take his rehab and training really seriously so I’m sure there will be no dramas getting back to form

The thing about sport is that it can be just as an enthralling narrative as written fiction and tv shows and motion pictures.

And the Titans have a set of very appealing protagonists.

Being augmented with some polished cinematography really reaches hearts and minds.

LoT: Get on social media and comment and share the video. 🎉
