A thread for the Gold Coast

I think one thing we can all agree on is that we love the GC. And we want what is best for it. We want it to shine.

So how about a thread about positive, interesting and exciting things happening around the region?

I was inspired to post this thread because I was watching PewDiePie. Yea he has grown up a lot has a family, lives in Japan and just posts when he feels like it.

Anyway, he posted today about visiting the Gold Coast. And it was just such a positive reflection of the GC and Oz. And I wanted to share it.

The shots of the Gold Coast hinterland are jawdropping. And he really loved all the birds around the place including rainbow lorikeets and yes, bin chickens. He feeds rainbow lorikeets too. Something I did as a young kid and really want to do again. He also gushes about Australia beaches being really incredible. He mentions the pure sand and is fascinating how the sand squeaks when he walks on it.
