Game 2: NSW vs QLD (2018)

At least Wallace wil be fresh for us. 4 runs for 40 metres? Say goodbye to the maroon jersey

Arrow will be there for a long time and agree, needs more time.

Wallace only got one stint. 4 runs for 40m and no missed tackles or errors suggests he completed the task that he was given.
Seems to me that Hunt and Wallace have become the Drongoes/Maroons/Courier Mail Whipping Boys and maybe Titans Fans might want to rally around Jarrod rather than get sucked into their agenda.

I drew my conclusions from watching the game thanks Bods. Compared to the way Napa ripped in, Wallace offered little in comparison at the start of the game. If we had any prop forwards eligible for QLD he wouldn't be there.

It wasn’t about you, it’s about what I’ve seen post game in the wider media and social media and our young man JWall is getting savages and there’s clearly an agenda at play by the Drongoes/CM and we need to get around him.

The other one is Hunt but that’s up to St Merge to deal with.

It looked like he tried to hide every time we needed a forward to cart the ball up, just like like in Game 1. I did see him dig in a bit more defensively though, but I agree, not Origin standard. Couldn't believe the interview where he said he thought he went well in Game 1 - huh? And Brennan claiming those of us who criticized his performance were just "Supercoach Players". Hahaha, turn it up. You don't have to be a SC player to see how poor his stats were in that game.

Arrow > Wallace in every way possible right now. Big metre eater with an offload, and a tackling machine. He is a guy this club really needs to lock up for the future.

JWall did a lot of ball playing too where he’d stop short of the line and then give it to Hunt or Munster to set up
A backline move, they were top quality touches too.
QLD were the dominant team during his first and only stint on the field.
I’ll be getting around him.

Couldn’t agree more.

You can mask it or deflect it anyway you want, but fact is he didn’t aim up despite all the assurances he would.

Don’t ge me wrong, I’m glad he is a Titan but very disappointed in his origin performances .

I’d like to point out one other thing re JWall
When he was replaced at the 28min mark QLD were leading 10-6.
QLD then lost the remaining 52mins without him 12-4.
Sounds like a Drongoe Media led lynch mob to me.

I'm not saying Wallace lost QLD (us) the game. I'm just saying, he made little impact when he was on. I read the article you are referring to and I see why you are upset. That was absolute dribble as usual. All I'm saying is that if QLD had depth and choice in that area he wouldn't be getting a call up based on what he has shown the last two games.

Obviously QLD game plan was to keep it out of the forwards and play the defensive liabilities in addo-carr and Roberts. But compared to Napa, Wallace didn't show much on the field.

I was actually very thankful Napa ripped in as he did.

It comes as no surprise that Taylor's name is getting bantered around as a replacement for Hunt. That came to mind on the night once Hunt kicked it on the 3rd, I've seen enough of him at Origin level, time to move on from Hunt experiment.

Given the way Hunt is playing tonight, it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if Ash was selected for Game 3. Hunt looks done...can't handle any sort of pressure.
