Titans and Jets extend affiliation for two more years including junior pathways.
Now, a cynic would say "Titans once again become the doormat by preparing pathways for the Jets NRL franchise bid" ... however, a realist would say "lol@jets.nrl.bid, we will happily take a slice of the NRL's $100m commitment, thank you very much, and the long-term benefits when the bid crashes and burns".

Jets have done some very solid recruiting on top of keeping a lot of the players who really started building at the end of the season once they got rid of Cross, The quality is going to be a lot higher for our guys we're sending there then the start of last year. Shout out Rhys Jacks announcing his retirement today as well, All the Titans who play there absolutely love him from what I see and that goes to the environment up there despite early season results.

Re-signed - Titanics crush Kyle Foxwell (half), Luke Maddaford (centre), Brett Greinke (prop), Brandon Roberts (winger), Samuel Inoke (middle), Mat Lyons (centre), Clayton Mack (middle), Brandon Clarke (hooker), Dominic Macumboy (utility back, winger), Kj Kahli (middle), Joel Holdsworth (middle), Ono So'oialo (centre).

Signed - Josh Patson (2nd rower) Contracted to a T&T full season with Titans, Zac Hetherington (hooker/utility), Jake Lenehan (prop), Nicholas Halalilo (2nd rower), Oliver Pascoe (hooker/utility), Rashaun Denny (centre), Justin Fai (prop), Hayden Molkentein (winger).

Most of those guys have a lot of cup experience a have done NRL pre seasons at clubs, I wouldn't mind us throwing some pre season T&Ts at a few and seeing what they can do and if any can jump out.

Denny for example I watched a little bit just before not to closely and if you look at his stats previously there's nothing there but in his few games this year (don't know why so few although I did see him get caught out a bit so maybe answering my own question) and watching him with the ball, He's like Matt Timoko from a playing and body standpoint, Also Evanias cousin.

Jets 2025 MM Cup players Nathan Fraser, Bill Fraser and Lachlan Coburn will spend the off-season training with the QCup squad.

Jets will have a very decent side next year that’s for sure, mix that incoming experience with some of those younger guys that they had last year from us JDG started to really dominate the last 6-7 rounds and find his feet in Q Cup, Hau was solid all year plus will now they both will bring NRL experience (assuming they are allocated their again) - I’ll call it Jets to go deep into the final series next year 👌🏼

Titans confirm Hostplus Cup allocations for 2025

The Titans are pleased to confirm their Hostplus Cup allocations for the upcoming season with both the Ipswich Jets and Tweed Seagulls.

Local junior Tom Weaver headlines the Seagulls campaign in his fourth year of the Hostplus Cup; joined by new Titans fulltime train-and-trial recruits Brock Gray, Cooper Bai, Sean Mullany who will play with Tweed this year.

Ipswich have been bolstered by Jaylan De Groot's return after his breakout debut Cup season in 2024, leading to his NRL call-up in Round 26 against the Knights - notching the second fastest speed in the Telstra Premiership with 37.2km/h.

The Jets will also see a number of fresh faces in 2025, including Allan Fitzgibbon and Josh Patston who are both training with Gold Coast's NRL squad full-time.

Both teams will feature at Cbus Super Stadium during the season - Tweed hosting PNG ahead of Round 5 v Dolphins and Ipswich facing the Brisbane Tigers before Round 17 v Cowboys.

The Jets will begin their Hostplus Cup campaign against the Townsville Blackhawks at North Ipswich Reserve; whilst the Seagulls will host Wynnum Manly-Seagulls - both games being played on Saturday, March 8.
