Junior Filimaua will start from the bench for the Tugun Seahawks in Round One of the GCRL First Grade competition this weekend against the Runaway Bay Seagulls.
 
For me Jett Flatley was the Northern Rivers Titans U18 Laurie Daley Cup sides best this year and this weekend in Round One of the NRRRL U18 competition he has been named on the bench for the Ballina Seagulls against the Casino Cougars.
 
On Sunday six Titans will be part of the CC Cup Semi-final between Burleigh and Wynnum Manly.

Finn Laffranchi, Lennox Whaiapu, Murphy Phillips and Treleque Boyce-Silimaka will start for the Bears and Jordan Hotere and Majah Peachey for the Seagulls.

Kobi Hauriki continued at lock for the Tweed Heads Seagulls in the Round Six of the CC Cup in the local derby against the Burleigh Bears and in the 6th minute from the left of the play the ball Kobu Hauriki carried the ball through the centre of the field from forty seven to forty metres from the try line before getting a right arm off-load away to his right to Jai Billish.

Also from the left of the play the ball and through the centre of the field, Kobi Hauriki in the 8th minute got the ball from eleven to twenty two metres from the try line. Then in the 10th minute from the right of the play the ball and through the centre of the field Kobi Hauriki ran from thirty eight to twenty six metres from the try line after stepping off his right foot. Kobi Hauriki then returned a kick-off in the 14th minute out to the twenty three metre mark.

After running an inside line to the left of the play the ball Kobi Hauriki ran from forty four to thirty two metres from the try line and then a tackle later Kobi Hauriki ran an underneath line to the right of the play the ball Kobi Hauriki made twelve more metres to get within twelve metres of the try line.

Kobi Hauriki followed up with another run through the centre of the field from the left of the play the ball to get from twenty three to twelve metres of the try line. Kobu Hauriki returned a further kick-off in the 44th minute from the twenty metre mark. Also in the 55th minute from the left of the play the ball Kobi Hauriki made fifteen metres from thirty three metres from his own try line.
 
Gazmiah To'omaga starts from the bench this afternoon for the Southport Tigers in Round One of the GCRL U18 Division One competition against the Currumbin Eagles.

Gazniah To’omaga made his first appearance in the 2025 CC Cup competition for the Tweed Heads Seagulls in the Round Six in the local derby against the Burleigh Bears and after coming onto the field to operate at lock early in the second half Gazniah To’omaga, in the 39th minute from the ball from the left of the play the ball through the centre of the field from forty eight to thirty six metres from the try line.

From the left of the play the ball in the 40th minute Gazniah To’omaga stepped off his left foot to get the ball from sixteen to five metres from the try line through the centre of the field. A minute later in the 41st minute Gazniah To’omaga got within centremetres of the try line in front of the posts after a ten metre run. Also in the 43rd minute after taking a Burleigh short kick-off on the full ten metres from the try line Gazniah To’omaga once again got within centremetres seven metres in from the right touchline.

Javon 😭😭😭😭 Looked like a broken wrist? He'd only set up about 6 tries to that point. He is so good to watch, Was at the Jets game down the end with Tweed attacking in the second half I don't know if footage does him justice for how big and light footed he is.

Lennox Whaiapu continued in the front row for the Burleigh Bears in the Round Six CC Cup local derby against the Tweed Heads Seagulls with Lennox WHaiapu returning the opening kick-off to the twenty metre mark.

From two passes to the left of the play the ball in the 2nd minute and thirty five metres from the try line Lennox Whaiapu was able to make ten metres to twenty five metres out and then in the 16th minute from the right of the dummy half Lennox Whaiapu ran from forty five to thirty five metres from the try line.

In the 50th minute from a kick-off return Lennox Whaiapu ran the ball out to the twenty two metre mark and two tackles later from an underneath line to the left of the play the ball Lennox Whaiapu ran from ten metres inside his half to eleven metres into Tweed Heads. Also in the 56th minute after receiving an off-load from his left Lennox Whaiapu ran from forty six to thirty two metres from the try line.
