Eeerrr.... are the Dragons seriously having half length socks? :nope:

After watching the 4 & half matches this season the refs do seem to be leaving the pea in the whistle a bit more than previous years which is a nice change .... let’s see how long it lasts

Great to have the game back

Anyone that watch the Cows Dragons match would have seen Frizzel cop a knee to the nads which should have made everyone’s eyes water, he required urgent surgery for a busted nut & will be out for 4-6 weeks

Oh fu... Do league players wear boxes? Poor guy.

^^^ That’s why a train wreck loss at home/humiliation at home in Round 1 is actually a big deal. We are under enormous pressure, all that talk of culture change/depth etc over summer was just bloviated hot air in the GC humidity.

We typically win the games we aren't supposed to so keep holding your breath

Storm 62 - Parra 10. Well isn't that a magical result. Not so much for crowds at BankWest Stadium though.

Only went the Saturday with on a suppliers coin, so the games took a back seat to free flowing drinks and food. The games on the Saturday weren't all that great and I didn't have dog in any fight so I honestly didn't find it all that captivating. Three games didn't feel like three games though time flew. I was concerned for the players welfare on a field that was being torn apart. Something I enjoyed was talking to the people around us who had travelled for the event and jumping on board their team spirit. Easier to relate to the dogs fans with their coach, team choices and position on the ladder.

All up enjoyable, would I go with my own coin? Probably not considering Mothers day was on Sunday so funds were allocated to that. If it wasn't on Mothers Day weekend, I'd take the family up if the Titans were playing on a multi team day for sure.

I attended all 8 games of Magic Round and stayed in Brisbane for Friday and Saturday nights and it was really, really enjoyable. After Thursday night's game I stated to my wife that it would hard to wear my Titans jersey for the remaining games half expecting a ribbing by other fans... How wrong I was!
It was just fantastic to see so many people wearing their jerseys and colours in a rugby league love-in. I wore my jersey all weekend and there were many other Titans fans that were wearing their jerseys despite the loss and disappointment. Despite Parra's loss I still saw lots of fans wearing their jersey with pride the following day and over the whole weekend I didn't see any ribbing apart from between friends within a group.
The NRL did fantastic job with the flow of the days with terrific entertainment and a party atmosphere.
I will definitely be back next year particularly as I have heard it will be over 3 days removing the ridiculous Thursday night game.
