I guess Weaver has ended his first grade career with us today too

Shame as he looked quite promising with ball in hand at times last season when he got a run in first grade but surely he's not getting another chance doing nothing against reserve graders today

We really need one of JC, Harrison or CG to become an elite 7 or we're really going to waste an entire generation of talent
 
I know in theory this game doesn't matter and the second half doesn't really but the way our mostly first grades got absolutely steamrolled by a way-more-understrength than us Broncos side is unbelievably terrible, just no effort

Our prospects look a bit worse than I expected them to as well
 
I can't really fault our dev boys as much as i can the starters. Albeit an embarrassing performance all round, our starters should have shown absolute 100x more.

But, I've calmed down now, and am just appreciating footy being back.

I expect to see 1000x more effort next week.
 
Just to throw this out there because I get the impression it’s been a bit misleading - the kids we’ve got out there are a year or 2 (or 3 in some instances) younger than you’d usually see them tested at this level. They’re MM eligible, just finished school and haven’t played any football against men (Sam played one game last year I think)

That’s not to excuse anything, just for some perspective

Doesn’t mean Stephenson & Sunny have not been carved up. Steep learning curve but they’ll be ok. Sunny isn’t even full time

Cooper been the best of the 19s kids
 
LOL the most exciting 3 seconds of the game at the end. I could actually get off my seat and voice some support.

Absolutely agree now that the rose tinted glasses are off.

Still doesn't excuse our almost full strength team being dogshit XD
