What a dominant performance. It feels like we have turned a new leaf. Hopefully we ride on this momentum the rest of the season. This is the type of game that is club defining and something to build on. If we can put in this effort every week we are going to be a very hard team to stop/play against. The difference between today and last week is night and day. I can’t even wrap my head around it to be honest.

1. JC has a good looking future as a number 6. Really good eyes up plays terrorised the edge and perfect with the boot
2. Angry David is best David. I hope des keeps lighting that fire in him because his involvement is 100% better with a chip on his shoulder
3. Randall is the second coming of the memeable journeyman who lifts for the club. Don being the last one of those
Big questions
1. We solve the Campbell / brimson headache and now have a kini / brimson headache. Who is the long term 1?
2. Can Foran keep this up? He’s winding back the clock on the field but looking like he’s made of paper mache every postgame
3. Middles are still soft and small. Pahulu being the only real body that dents the line and stops the ops is a problem. Palasia has been a miss and other vets we signed to plug the middle like Liu and Stimson aren’t that good either
Overall a great win, maybe having the scoreline of 66-6 will summon the dark lord to end the curse of Gold Coast sports?

So many great performers today but every week I am just absolutely amazed by Kini, genuinely feel like we have a guy who could be a top 10 player in the game. JC was also brilliant at 6 and his goal kicking is a huge plus, I feel sorry for Des having to find a way to fit them all in.
