Round 20: TITANS vs RAIDERS (2022)

Hopefully Canberra really rack up a score here to put some pressure on the owners to actually do something.

They've been playing a peculiar game of denial and need to do something major to put a rocket up this rabble.

I strongly recommend we all boycott the club until real change is effected. Attending and making club purchases is enabling this acceptance of incompetence.

Judging by the crowd noise (or lack thereof) at our recent home games, it sounds as though this is already happening. You can only stay loyal to a team for so long.
 
The longer this goes on the more clueless the club looks. It’s just damaging the titans brand at this point which is already worth 3/8s of **** all

Yes. The Raiders were in second gear.
We'll now get the try player a in this position, move player b etc etc. Essentially we have **** players with about 6 exceptions and there needs to be massive clean out. Not by this coach though as he has backed them.
 
The issue HS isn’t between Sami and Herbert. Sami is a wing, AJ perhaps at left centre, Fermor left edge. Marzhew on the right wing and anybody perhaps Jojo at right center. The elephants in the room are Sexton and team tweaking before and during the game. Holbrook has managed to ruin any gains he’s made with Booth/Clarke plus the game plan of 5 hit ups and a poor kick under pressure harps back to the days before limited tackles … I’m probably the only dumb bastard here who played under that. We have bigger problems though: Sexton. Boyd to 7 and even Rogers at 6 … too shattered to comment more. Wooden spoon, how disgraceful.

Done the Boyd experiment, while good today it’s not the way forward imo.

Give Weaver more time in QCup and give Guy Hamilton a train and trial contract. Has looked good for the Bears.

Agree and we will probably resign a player during the week to deflect the real issues. Apart from Tino cannot think of one player that has improved this year.
 
One positive of the day was the quality of the Future Titans on show in both the U17 and U19 sides. There is some real talent coming through the outstanding Titans JTS Program.

Realistically, what would be attractive to them about joining our rabble?
 
I can’t think of what support they think they can put around Holbrook to improve results. Who would want ass coaches job?
Review of Footy Manager, Recruitment Manager, Head of Performance needs to be done and considering the amount of issues so should the CEO role.
Best outcome is Holbrook quits and heads to a super League again. God knows why we signed him to long term contract and now the owners don’t want to pay out his contract…we are the new West Tigers in club management terms.
 
Didn't bother watching the game because we are so rubbish I find myself going for the opposition.
I said back in round 3 we wouldn't win another game this year...well I'm going to extend this to next year and things look that bad I can't see another win while Hurricane is at the helm.
Anyone who things this bloke can dig us out of this hole is delusional and I'm so disgusted in the clubs management I'm thinking of giving the game away all together TBH.
