D Fifita and Walsh clearly don't get along. There was a moment in the second half that made it very clear. I think this is a big part of the Origin selection snub.

I feel so optimistic right now about the future of the club. Finally!

Keano Kini you humble superstar. Lock him up for $1 million a year for 10 years.
 
Growing up i've never had the same hatred for the Donks as most of you (Born and raised in NZ), so almost all of my NRL rivalry has gone towards the Wahs since as early as I can remember, and never really had the same for the Broncos...

I'd watch Darren Lockyer sail a double-upright field goal from 40 metres out to win in the game in the early days,
Israel Folau take us to church in rd 1 of the 2009 finals,
Alex Glenn turn into prime SBW every time he played us,
And just in general get torn up by their better players,

But I never hated them like most,

Untill they pulled that BS with James Roberts...

...And then were the benefactor of the most blatant obvious match-fixing in NRL history against us about 10 months later in that elimination final.

...And then in the dying moments of a 2017 game James Freakin Roberts of all people wins the game off a Kane Elgey mistake to rub salt in the wound.

...And all the times Pete Badel and his posse of Broncos glazers pop up every so often with their mouths full of Rupert Murdoch and Wayne Bennett's offspring to pull out some anti-Titans article.

...And all the general condescending "little brother" bollocks.

So yeah, I now hate the Broncos too, and this win, along with the other Tom Weaver game a few weeks back tastes so sweet.

Anyway,

1. Something that i've noticed after taking a closer look is that it seems that we are actually surrendering veeery easily through the middle, i'm not sure if it's just this game or the sections i've been watching over the weeks but i'll bet we take tackles quicker than anyone else, if it's a strategy by Des then it makes perfect sense considering our middles usually play a little smaller and quicker anyway, while the team in general is just humming behind a super quick offense off the back of these PTBs. Guys like Kini, Jojo, Campbell, Randall, Erin Clark etc seem to have taken their games to another level recently and if it's something Des has implemented then I love that he's tailored the attack to fit personnel.

2. Keano Kini is one of the fiercest competitors we've had in the jersey. Many others would have gone into their shell after how Reece Walsh was cooking early on, and he just stuck in the fight, and came out way ontop. This guy is a freakin showstopper, never had anyone like him, I can't believe how lucky we are to have this guy in our club. I reckon he could've scored 5 or 6 tries today with how his proximity was to the action, zero superlatives for him anymore.

3. David Fifita drops the ball from kick-off and Erin Clark goes to comfort him, all smiles, love it!... and then Foot Fetish Kotoni Staggs (never been a good player but I guess he plays for Brisbane so that's enough) drops it cold. Double love it!.

4. BRIAN KELLY WTF WAS THAT KICK GET OFF MY TEAM!!!.

5. Beau Femor is a fantastic player man, can play real tough and dirty, and then turns around and has some real flair on the edge. He's no Kurt Capewell though, who can do neither of these things but Billy has a massive hard-on for being a complete idiot.

6. Jojo Fifita. Are there even any wingers out there right now better than him from QLD?? Two-way wing with monster acceleration.. He's turning into the guy we all knew he could be. Also, wtf is up with him literally being the GOAT in desperate try-saving defensive circumstances?.

7. Corey Oates is freakin washed man holy, send him to the glue factory ASAP.

8. Is this Deine Mariner the one everyone in the media has been getting on their knees for??? The guy has absolutely no clue what he's doing out there or at the very least LOOKS like he has no idea. Was great to see Jojo just decimate him today, just destroyed him. Hope Deine goes well for Kiwis though if we get 130 injuries to the backline.

Is Kini eligible for QLD or did he move here too late? Walsh is an arrogant turd, never liked him and it seems his teammates don’t either.
