Round 22: TITANS vs BRONCOS (2024)

I was speaking to young Keano at the Titans members function a few weeks back and he is the most unassuming, respectful and modest young player going around.

I compare him to the brash and arrogant Walsh and it beggars belief in the difference in quality of person the 2 are.

Also, if you compare Keano at the same age of Walsh, he is far away ahead at the same age and his rapid rate of improvement and skill level is something you do not see too often at his age.

His contract ends at the end of 2026 so he will become a free agent from 1 November next year. He is a must to sign before then but we will need to start saving now and entrench him as our long term fullback.
 
The atmosphere at the game was up there with the best and it was electric all game. Even when we were down 12-0.

The crowd was roaring and chanting sll game and it is not often that the Titans supporters have been more vocal than the oppositions supporters. It was good to drown out the Donkeys fans.

Well done supportors and well done team for putting on a masterclass for us supporters to cheer loudly in support.
 
If K was at a Sydney club, or even at Bris he’d be getting so much hype and media coverage you wouldn’t hear the end of it. Especially considering he only turned 20 three months ago.

I think it’s actually a good thing he’s not because his humble, unassuming style is well aligned with us as a club I think.

Just watched the highlights again ... and again. Kini is so good. If he hasn't passed AJ yet, he's so close and he'll also improve a lot more. He's our 1 as long as we can keep him.

Really interested in the off season to see what Des does with Jojo and Carter Gordon. I think CG could be our back up left centre down the track and possibly first choice if he can do it. BK has to go as soon as we've got a better replacement. Even the try he scored running back infield Chika Ferguson style screamed brain explosion. If CG can play left centre and AJ at 6 down the track, they can switch on the last for the downtown. Hopefully Jojo is a centre by Round 1 next year and Big Tony is killing it on the wing. Sami can be the back up right winger. I also hope Lofi has a massive offseason.

I also thought the atmosphere was excellent. And enhanced by all the flags the Titans gave out.

Shocked at how sharp the knives are for KWalt of Broncos fans. Maybe that is why KWalt had the weirdest body language when he was cut to during the broadcast. Unmoving, statue. He knows he is done. And the fans are rounding on Walsh too. Giving him just as hard a time as we are. They don't appreciate his ego, how he treats his teammates and how he disturbs the club culture. Oh and the size of his deal.

Dolphins dodged a bullet! They got Hammer! Also Trey Fuller too.
