Round 23: TITANS vs SHARKS (2024)

What a pathetic performance no heart what so ever from the players our middle was trampled and the titans attitude we’ll leave that for des to explain as looks like some players already holding there head in the sky
Once again can’t back up and keep consistency

Such an odd night.
I do think maybe our season GF was the Drongoes and their heads and maybe ours too were firmly up our proverbials tonight and Cronulla has such a good culture.
My goodness me they play hard.

Given it’s a development year though I can sort of live with this and not go into meltdown.

Gives Des pause to assess the list and club culture further.

And we live and learn from it. Love the club. Love the GC.
We go again next week.

I chose the worst possible game to take my son to his first game for :(

He was absolutely devastated all game but Kini came over at full time and signed his ball and took a selfie with him. Now you can't take the smile off his face and he's bouncing around! :)

Player engagement with the kids is such a great lifetime investment for the club and the players!

Thanks Kini the humble people's champion! He salvaged a shocking night for us.

Could be worse - I took my 5 year old for her first to the Dolphins vs Titans last year @ lang park. 😂

That’s awesome mate. Glad to hear your boy got to end the night on a high despite the score.

So shattering to read everybody’s stories are about failure … the first I took my son to was when Kikau scored for Penrith in the last minute to win years ago :-(

One of my wife’s boyfriends took me to watch the Titans play Easts in that Elimination final in Townsville, god it was hot, my 136kg frame had sweat through one of my Gold Coast Titans away jerseys I paid full price for and even my sandals were destroyed.. not to mention I was on the verge of tears when Patrick Herbert fluffed that pass, until Tyrone Peachey came over to console me on the sideline in hysterics, and he even offered to take a photo with me, to which I declined.

I didn’t think my face would be left with a smile when I started reading this post.

Thank you KK! And hope your son sees many wins.

I wish there was more clarity in the presser. I'd love to know the reasoning behind why can we score 44 points one week then 0 the next? It's just bizarre.

I think it was implied that ATTITUDE and MENTAL FRAGILITY were the culprits but maybe that's just my personal bias playing into it.

Des has been a big improvement as our Sports Psychologist this year but there's so much work to do. I hope our pre-season really focuses on our upstairs department.
