Round 23: TITANS vs SHARKS (2024)

So shattering to read everybody’s stories are about failure … the first I took my son to was when Kikau scored for Penrith in the last minute to win years ago :-(
I can’t exactly recall who we played in my little girls first game but I know we won.

So because she’s so young and I’m strict with maintaining bedtimes she only goes to games that start at 530pm at the very latest and her record of seeing us win games is enormous.

So clearly that shows we are a daytime team.

Effort areas

He said it himself in the presser

When you multiply that across all facets on/off with/without ball, you get a miserable performance that becomes worse when you’re playing a side that’s playing simple direct, physical and high percentage football

And speed at the play the ball which we failed to control big time. They just dominated the ruck and middle of the field all night

There’s no way I’m going to watch a replay but live and sitting in row 4 it was an absolute bashing from minute 5 to halftime.
I wonder if it was that noticeable on the TV.
100%. I was close to ground level and the Sharks just looked bigger, stronger, faster and hungrier.
This loss was ALL about attitude and unfortunately it proved we’ve still got a ways to go in the week in week out consistency we need to be a competition threat.
