Round 27: PANTHERS vs TITANS (2024)

Foran cannot put in an attacking kick to save himself. Titans had every right to win this, a memorable win to give us hope for 2025 and we throw it away on unforced errors ( 60% being from Kleese)
 
Well we had a dig, had a chance, made heaps of errors including some suspects. I feel happy that we were in it, mostly consistently. Panthers were not on song either. Ah we could have definitely bagged this in another multiverse. Highlight how quiet the Panthers crowd was, even considering the festivities and nostalgia of shutting down Penrith Park for redev.

Been a pleasure hanging out with you all here this season. Genuinely a highlight of my week getting to jump on here and talk shit with you guys and watch our team go around, for the most part anyway.

Look after yourselves this off-season and we’ll regroup to support our main man Brian Kelly again in 2025
 
Well gents. Bit of a weird season. Putrid to start. A bit of a run, some hope of a finals miracle appearance and then back to putrid. Hard to really know how we stand overall. Obviously it’s only Des first season but there is some clear green shoots. Still think we really need to nail down our 17 and just run with it. I will say I actually did enjoy watching the boys play this season post tigers loss and those 2 against the wall wins against the broncos and the NRL 2024 points record against the warrior are some of the best I’ve experienced. Love the chats, the banter, the arguments and the forum. let’s jump back in this rollercoster in 2025
 
Compared to previous seasons I'm more confused in a good way though compared to whatever Holbrook did, there is hope and I reckon Dessie has a majority of the tools he needs.

We did lose our best player and captain at the end of the day in round 3 with more injuries, Did a preseason with the players in the wrong spots, Had the wrong team line ups till whenever Foz or whoever got injured in the Cowboys game and then we looked competent from then till a month ago and tonight we redeemed ourselves a bit...

Also the bye thing.... Happened two years in a row and I hope the club makes a deal of it.

If I don't see Jojo in an Aussie jersey, I'm rioting.

JDG is going to be a serious player I reckon, Don't know if it's with us but I think we need to give him a serious crack on the wing or centre in the pre season/q cup.

HSS and AJ were above Lofi as well for top speed I think in pre season this year from memory.
 
Will be good to see tino, Dave, Aj and CG have a full pre season under there belts. Doubt we will have many international players maybe just mo and kini and possibly fox with browns injury so we should be going into 2025 looking good. Will be interesting to see who actually does leave the club. Liu is a definite but the rest are maybes. Hopefully a couple of bargain buys from des can help us with some impact.
 
For me, The Cowboys round 10 game might've been the best and was at most of them besides the Warriors game ffs.

We were so down on troops and had it wrapped up then more injuries happen in the game and thinking the usual Titans choke was coming and the late tackle in the corner in front of all the fans to win the game on Feldt I think where there were 4/5 guys in it.

I could live that moment as a fan forever, The effort and rallying behind each other and winning a game on defence???? Hook it in my veins.
 
Get rid of a few serial failures and future results will improve. The only problem is there's not much talent available to replace them with unless some unexpected players become available.

Wish I could say I'm optimistic about 2025 but.... 2011-2024 says I probably shouldn't be

Reading that makes me smile. I've really enjoyed riding the wave of being a Titans fan with everyone. There has been lots of twists and turns. And something to cheer about. I've had lots of laughs and learnt a lot of things from everyone. I've also enjoyed getting to know everyone better.

As fulltime blew on the season, I imagined shaking hands and patting the back of my online teammates here.

I'm looking forward to 2025.
