Round 4: ROOSTERS vs TITANS (2025)

Why would they need excuses ahahahah, They legit always play like that That was a Roosters game from them.... They give away errors and penalties more then anyone. Go look at their games, They always complete around a shitty %.

We were better having less everything in the statline, If it keeps happening shit.... Something might be up. Roosters are the worst disciplined team or close and one of the worst completion rate teams.... Nothing was abnormal...

Sam Walker with his pinner boot wasn't winning that game hahaha, They might've been worse off, He can't kick over 40m....
Because they're the Roosters. They just expect to win, and when they don't, there's always some dumb excuse.

But re Sam Walker, he would probably have added a bit of polish to their end of sets unlike Sandon who was awful apart from setting up that first try. That's all I was saying. But it probably wouldn't have made a world of difference given he wasn't the one out there making dumb errors and dropping the ball.

Get it but that's not our problem.

Our depth as much as people doubted it is as good as I've seen it in years to the point I'd trust Patston to come in over all our second rowers like Alick.. That's a T&t on whatever who IMO is a better player then Alick as much as that might hurt fans who rate JAW who tbh, Has shown a bit in NRL.

I watch a lot of Q cup to and saw a lot of our guys, Not trying to be an expert but it's clear after a bit who's up for it or not, JDG, Franchise who played... I never saw any of the shit people were concerned about because I'd watched them do what they do, Yes they might have down games...

It's rookies being talked about.....Not everyone is going to be Kini....

But players like Alick get wanted in after 80+ games of OK Q cup games when there's a lot of evidence on what the player is.

That's where I get confused.

Depth is nearly what actually gets you to the finals.
I know it's not our problem. We were talking about who each team had players missing and I just added Sam Walker. No need to get your knickers in a knot over it.

Enjoy this win. F**k it feels good beating the Chooks at their home stadium in front of Holbrook.

Yes forgot to mention what a perfect matching pair those two sanctimonious plicks are perching in their nest cackling away to each other … wiped the smiles right off their faces.

As clunky as it looks, The Verrills/Tino try looks planned off the scrum from JC telling them where to go at the whole time and keeping it in the middle, JC is targetting that little dipshit Sandon which opens up Verrills to Tino which has been something for they've had for ages, Just need more time but Tino will get 6/7 tries off him alone this year.

So good.

Replaying it now,

awesome awesome effort to win and win well, our attacking philosophy is coming together, we’re expansive, we’re playing hard and we look dangerous all across the park.

Could give credit to numerous players today, everyone was awesome… but man, Tino is a monster. Game-changer. Not sure what I’ve done to get so lucky to watch him lead my favourite footy team around.

Oh, almost forgot… get Klese Haas off my team.

I think it was the best 80 BK has played for a long time. He'll probably have 7 BK brain explosions next week to compensate.

Francis can build on that performance and be better each week. I'm enjoying th size he brings but want a bit more mongrel. Can he put the corn rows back in? He monstered the Broncos that night.

JDG was very solid and looks like he belongs. Looking forward to seeing more.

The try Jojo let through looked to be a trust issue on the inside guys and he moved too late and his man got outside him. He IS human afterall. I don't expect him to do that too regularly.

I can't get my head around only playing with 16 and Iszac missing out again. Warren Ryan always used to say you can rest the little guys but the big guys need constant work. I know it happens and we were going well but surely it's not ideal?

JC is coming along very nicely at 7, I reckon. Both halves can work more on their kicking game but they're defending well and always a threat.

I also liked the agro from Dave. More please. If you're going to miss tackles, at least show some mongrel. I also liked how he didn't lie on the ground trying to pull a penalty. Hoepfully that's behind him.

So good having Tino back. I like how Des is rotating him. He looks fresh. I think Tino is watching Payne and thinking he has to go to a new level.

what I’ve loved about the last 2 weeks is that we are winning games we should/ are a toss up. For many seasons we been derailed by losing winnable games or playing out of form teams right back into form. Just need to keep this up and steal the odd game from a contender and we will be back playing finals footy.

To echo the other sentiments please get rid of Kleese. He is the ultimate momentum killer between handling errors and penalties
