mdrew is spot on. There's no accountability yet. Hopefully Des' spray works but we need something deeper and more far-reaching than that.

I'm gonna start practicing backyard lobotomies. Any takers?

Looking at our next six matches we have North Queensland, Canbera, Manly, Warriors, Storm and Cowboys again, does anyone really see us winning any of those?

Even the most optimistic of the fans are nearing the end of their rope and make no mistake our Junior Development Program has also fallen off a cliff!

Can't see us winning any of those upcoming games. Not one, because we can't make the changes required, because we don't have the cattle.

I don't think I can do this much longer. It's like being in an abusive relationship. I give the club my money and defend the team's "efforts" to all who laugh at me for supporting them. They promise change and success year after year... but dish up the same old sh1t. LOL!!

It's so fecking hard to get yourself up each week isn't it??

Oh well...bring on the cows and all the fun that'll come with it.

It looks like Des went right at Tanah when giving the spray, how about have some balls and drop the bloke then. Or if you're not going to drop him give him a special vest to wear, no contact allowed for the bloke

@dool have made a few comments in JTS thread about juniors. It’s not all doom and gloom. But we’ve been trending in the wrong direction as of recently.

18’s group and above is excellent. Younger groups struggling - we’re not recruiting well at 15’s/16’s.
 
Well I got one tip right this week.

Son asks me when we’re 10 nil up “why aren’t you excited?”

Hahahha how easily he forgets how at best we are a 40 min team. Tonight we couldn’t play for 20.

Enjoy your Easter. Give up hope of finding happiness supporting the Titans. Life is easier.

Yeh ok. I'll go have a read. Being a teacher it makes me think what they're doing wrong. Been a high school for 14 years at 3 different high schools. I can count on my right hand the amount of visits I've seen
 
None of our juniors are coming through well enough at all, I have no hope for a very seriously talented group of 18's coming through with the current regime.

Not one junior has done better then expected and everyone looks way off the pace coming into first grade. At what point do we stop saying juniors are going to be the answer??? Everyone has ****ing good juniors, Cowboys have about 10 serious ones coming through including the best talent imo at Tweed MM, We have talented juniors but what will we do with them? Noone is looking good coming out of our systems besides Pahulu right now who's a freak....

I just watched that **** on the sideline and we are so far off the pace.. Dolphins were not good. There was legit zero communication the whole game, Barely anyone looks like they care.

It's going to get a lot worse, Noone even looks fit or bigger like we expected, Looking at the Dolphins they had both over us by a mile.

We look so far off the other QLD teams alone in everything then we get to the squad.... FANTASTIC according to our CEO and Chairman....

The fan amount was an abosolute joke to, Less then at the Dragons game...

Also whatever has happened to Lofi, That man doesn't look quick at any stage on the field, For someone who's meant to be our quick athletic guy on the left, His speed doesn't look threatening at all...

The one positive that couldn't ignore the whole time was how big JC was looking, He looks like he ate JC and hasn't lost a step.

In addition to the above which I agree with, I am also of the view that the transition work from JTS through to NRL is also well below what it should be.
 
Alrighty, so ... Fifi looked ok for his first game. It was good to have JC back too. Kind of fitting considering the time of year lol.

Sami was tough. I've always been a fan of his. Mo was just a little over stretched in the first half. Stimson should have been in the side from round one. Love Stimo! Either Verrils or Clark need to drop off the bench to make way for Pahulu. Can Francis take AKP's wing spot??

How far off is Jojo? If we need two hookers...can we please give Bryant a crack. He'd show more than Verrils at the moment. I think it's important to take into account...or not to judge a players performance on the team's result in cup...but rather, think what their excited energy could add to the NRL side.

How is Ben Liyou going?
 
Just got home from the game and it was clear that the Titans hit the wall after 20 minutes. From good line speed for the first 20 minutes which minimised the Dolphins yardage, the Titans just fatigued and fell in an heap in line speed and ineffective tackles allowing the Dolphins to march up the field and often with 70 metre sets.

Any of the Titans players who said the offseason was the hardest ever is just taking the p/ss. We are so unfit and well behind the other teams, it will be a miracle that we win a game all year.

Did Des bring in someone or do we have the same one as last year. Whoever it is needs to be shown the door on Monday. The glaringly obvious fatigue after 20 minutes shows that the Titans are now the joke of the NRL.

They look way less fit and the weight put on them looks horrible and slowing them down, They barely do much training or anything before the game either and pile it on late.

It's really bad like you said watching it live... This team is so fried and has no communcation, No care, nothing... After a try noone looks like they give a ****.... It's as bad as 2019 tbh already.

It the same guy (Cameron Ferguson) I think but Des put about 5kgs on everyone at least like it's 2013... Everyone wanted size, This is what the club thought.


How the **** is Haas getting put on the bench over Fermor??? This is why we ****ing suck

Shoutout Tannah, At this point as much as people say he's the problem.... He might be but we're a bigger one.. He's trash but there' 10 things worse then him right now in the 17.

Interesting that we went with bulking up, while the dragons went by with shredding weight. Seems like Flano realized how the game now relies on speed and endurance and Des has opted for size and power. It's a fine line...

Watt is the one constant for the last ten years.

Didnt see the game as I’m OS, but social media is having a field day with us.

Why cant we tough games out? A read a few comments about our fitness, surely after 20 odd weeks we are fit enough to compete.

I would be happy if over the next few weeks we stay in the grind, show pride, competitiveness, mongrel.

I guess we will get an indication next Tuesday as to what Des sees the solution as.
 
Any of you see the video of Des after the game ripping into the squad in the sheds? Surely he's had enough of this circus by now
 
It gives me some hope maybe the Dessies presser but he looks fried already from these clowns though and the Foz bit wasn't a good sign, It looks like a really long season ahead...

He named everything we were horrible so that's a first from a coach in while??
