Round 5: TITANS vs DOLPHINS (2025)

This forward pack just feels really unbalanced.

Hau already doing more than some more credentialled team mates in his first few minutes on the field.

Dolphins put the cue in the rack don't read too much into this finish.

If we were to cop a loss I want to get flogged to actually send a message if the squads good enough to actually be decent.

The issue for me is this happened in the Sharks game last year and we copped 44-0, Guess it's an improvement???????

Missing Verrills is huge.... He's the one that keeps everything somewhat organised.

Nearly everytime we had two props (including Tino) in the tackle, Dolphins have made significant ground on the next play. Marker play has poor.

At least the Suns won what was the best game of the year so far at home by 1.... They rocked up after 2 away games with bigger issues from the floods AFTER not being able to win a game away at all last year besides a buzzer beater by Mac.

To go from that to this was pretty foul hahahaha.

A few thoughts
Francis is either 10 kg too light or 10 mt too slow
Kelly- well tonight was rocks,
AJ -gee his 5th tackle kicks need a lot of work
Randall is no longer a starting dummy half
Do we have one too many props in the 17
Can’t work out what we are doing with the rotations
The bulldogs first 30 was very different to what we did tonight, our start tonight reminded me of our Broncos trial with a lot of grabbing and slow marker play.

Fark the Suns in our game thread Cow
After their performance against a top 4 or so team and then what we just did... They also have a bunch of local kids from PBC/Broadbeach coming through making differences which is going and getting crowds and it will build. Suns are about to potentially actually be not just good but contenders and it does matter as as someone who grew up here.... I want to support GC teams that do well...

We all saw something like this potentially happening... Not this bad but there's always hope that regulary gets slapped in our face.

After the floods cooked their 1st round for weeks so didn't play, They went went to Perth, down to Melbourne and just had their first home game and delivered...

What's wrong with celebrating GC sport and I think there should be competition for crowds... I want to go to a night that I know I'm not walking away like tonight for a lot of fans...

Also, just for the record, I got into countless, and I mean countless arguments regarding the complete lack of depth on this roster with someone on this forum (who, I can’t remember sadly), today, the proof was in the pudding, this roster has a monster drop off after like 7 or 8 guys, a couple more may be valuable, but the depth chart here is disgustingly bad.

This particular team is a momentum-based team, nothing more, almost impossible to run down, but very easy to out-muscle and get on top of. It’s how it’s been built. We’ll see what happens moving forward, but such a sad (yet unsurprising) loss in front of a home crowd who were hopeful.

Filthy.

Nothing wrong at all and most would agree with your sentiments regarding another GC team but there is a place for everything and this thread is not the place for that. However there is already a thread for such stuff.
