Round 8: TITANS vs PANTHERS (2022)

Two? I would say only this year. He was great through Origin last year & our finals game.

He was an error machine at times last year. Prior to that he barely dropped the ball through his first few seasons.

There is a noticeable improvement in our line speed tonight. It's a lot faster.

We're actually winning the arm wrestle here. Penrith are off their game a bit but our attitude is much, much better tonight.

Flanagan making it very clear our halves (and coaches) are doing a poor job getting Fifita good ball.

Great first half by the boys (except Sexton). It feels good to see them put in a big first half effort. Hopefully they can sustain it for the full 80 minutes.

Thought Ese'ese had a positive impact when he entered the game. Looks very nimble out there.

Our attack (albeit scoring once), kinda feels like it's flowing better out the back with the additional playmaker (keep AJ at 1 now).

This place is quiet when doing well didn’t fit our narrative  I’m not delusional enough to think we’ll win but its nice to see them puttin in some effort and actually a bit of linespeed too. Been impressed with Ese Ese and Lisone. Still though how are we so hopeless at getting Fifita good ball? The bloke is an absolute freak when he has a bit of room to move, please give it to him boys.

Sexton’s confidence is absolutely shot too, last thing he needa to do is worry about kicking goals. Give it to Herbet. Could you imagine Sexton having to kick a sideline conversion to win, we’d just know its going to miss.

It was pointed out though that Fifita waits for the ball, in comparison to Kikau who charges onto it. Within 5 minutes of going on Fifita was gassed and was out on the wing. He is fast becoming the next coming of Dave Taylor.

A shame as soon as Penrith scores a try our go forward disappears and our defense drops off. Our mentality is still weak.

Absolutely pathetic in attack in that sequence. Clark should change his surname to Clunk or Clog

We're officially back to hoping AJ does something freaky from distance to score tries. Our attack flows like a clogged toilet and we have to get rid of Clark and Sexton who are terrible and not ready for first grade respectively.

I was hoping Clark would be hooked rather than moved to lock. Another dreadful pass by him

They challenged that FMD. WTF happened to Mo. He's a shell of his former self

Tanah already looks way better thwn Clark at 9, actually just passes the ball rather than running and then passing like Clark

Come on guys we need more than a forward hit up on the 4th

If a ref watching our player get tackled without the ball and doesn’t blow a penalty doesn’t prove how ****ing biased the refereeing is towards us I give up. **** the NRL this is why people are turning off the top 4 teams get it all

Attack is a massive concern. Need additional attacking player like Campbell or Tino into front row and bring in a ball playing 13.
Clark slow and wild passing from dummy half, Liu is average at best, no more Proctor please.
Is there anyone else in top 35 we can blood.
Deadset pedestrian and predictable attack
I fear next win is long way off.
