Round 9: TITANS vs STORM (2024)

I thought HSS was fine but Schoupp did actually earn a spot...

Schoupp has been massive in the QRL, He's copped so much **** and rightfully so a lot of times but he's really trying at QRL level this year which has been great. He moved away from home for the first time and has had a kid lately, He could sit on his wages till 2025 but you can tell he really wants to be in the team the way he's performing at Jets.

I'm stoked for Tannah and Schoupp. Do it next week....

Noone is denying BK does that...

I'm actually wondering how/why you said he's our best attacking player in the last two years... The only reason Lofi has a career at this point is because of BK and both probably shouldn't be playing NRL but at least BK adds a lot more.

He's dropped whenever Sami is back, Jojo has been way better.

It would be nice to start a set with the first carry not being for minus 10 metres. I pray Sami is fit this week.

I doubt he will change a winning team but AKP must be on thin ice and he’s not alone imo. Fermor stood and watched the first two tries when could have made real contact and Liu is largely a passenger. Trouble is depth.

You guys are wrong about AKP, he may be useless out of our own end, can’t tackle, provides no real threat on the park that isn’t in wide open space but at least he’s got a great smile.

The first winger we get who can score tries with the best of em and everyone wants him dropped because he only returns the ball to the 20 50% of the time and gets targeted by high bombs

Man you can’t make it up

Tokes you’ve gotta be tokin’, you’re right about 50% getting it to the 20, that’s when he’s catching it on or has carried it to the 30. Of the other 50%, 50% of those are cannoning off his chest but I also totally agree: he can score a try.

Judiciary update: David Fifita

Gold Coast forward David Fifita has been charged by the match review committee following the Titans' Anzac Day win against the Warriors in New Zealand.
Placed on report in the 68th minute, the enforcer has been hit with a Grade 1 Dangerous Contact charge on playmaker Te Maire Martin in what is deemed to be his second offence.

But in good news for the exciting edge forward, the early guilty plea will only result in a $1,800 fine and will be free to play in next Saturday's clash against the Storm. Should he elect to fight the charge and be found guilty at the hearing, he will be charged $2,500.

No plea has been submitted at this time.

Brian Kelly was also placed on report in the second minute for a dangerous tackle but has been found to have no case to answer.

Surely, Lofi goes this week.

Boyd can stay if he keeps playing like that.

Fermor looks to be getting better but still can't defend. Is Des just giving him time to get back to where he was?

I thought Verrills had turned around but he was poor in a winning team.

And does BK have ROCKS tattooed on one arm and DIAMONDS on the other?
