Titans NRLW

The Titans have snared two outstanding talents from Ballina Coast High School who will both be in the Titans Top 24 for the 2025 NRLW season in Savannah Roberts-Hickling and Phoenix-Raine Hippi, both represented Australia this year in either school girl rugby or rugby league.

I Like Lily game very aggressive and not frightened to role the sleeves up and do the dirty work, plays well above her weight

We've signed Aamira Renouf, The Pearls niece for 3 years, One of the best athletes in the country for her age (played Aus 7s) and QLD for a bunch of sports and a pretty crazy story around her health with Limbic Encephalitis, I remember hearing about it a bit ago and that they didn't know how life/sports career was going to be, Had 3 seizures at state champs then was ready to play a day later.... Bad m'fer.

I'll start attempting to get a list together because there's about 15 alone from Keebra and Ipswich alone in 17/19s and they've also started the 15s.

A much less detailed juniors compared to the OG Mdrew so far.

Eta Sikahele is on a developmental with the other 2 girls, A lot of Mato about her and might be a shot for the right second row this year. Really talented and will play NRLW as well.

This is basically just Keebra, Ipswich so far.... There's a bunch more family members coming from both Hippis and Roberts and lots of surnames we're going to be seeing from the local area.

They all have have massive reps in schoolgirls as well.... It'd be easier to find one that's not rated as the best in the state.

19s
Phoenix
Savannah - There's a bunch more coming from both Hippis and Roberts and the connecting names looking at the juniors, Another Kolc as well.

Liarna Barber - centre
Kaliyah Browning - Prop
Yamun Ginda Kelly - Half
Lourdes Vainikolo - Prop
Sienna Smith - Second rower (Captain of Keebra and Tweed 19s)
Esther Pedro - Dummy half
Skylah Samson - Fullback

17s

Torah Luadaka - Halfback (already on a developmental for 2026)
Genesis Tupa'i - Five eighth
Diamond Graham - Dummy Half.
Mercedez Lisone Siaea - Prop
Lishainah Ulugia - Prop
Skye Yvette Faimele - Prop.

Just watched the rugby 7’s highlights from Perth. The skill of those girls is extraordinary. I dream of having Maddie Levi in Titans colours, but there’s probably 5 or 6 of them that would kill it in League.

The Levi sisters are likely to play for the Suns if they give up Union..

Pauline from Tigers is a solid pick up, Got a good kicking game and can fill in a lot of spots nearly anywhere in the spine, Could see her potentially being the 9 with Kolc or move Loz back like Bods said and her to one of the halves. Stoked with Lailani re-signing, Really like what she bought in her games and noticeably added to the attack quickly, Georgia is a bit more iffy but she's 19 and down the pecking order as well and with another year experience after never playing league.

From what I've got going on Leaseau being in the top 24 + the 3 on developmental girls, The top 24 might be done but that depends on Estanoa Faitala who I think is on a top 24, She did her ACL but was meant to be top squad last year, If she's in I think the top 24 is done.

Still need to see how the girls come off the ACLs but all of them were hitting a higher level before they happened and I think we're in a serious spot to have a crack with the comp expanding to. Chantay before her ACL was a different player to the one we saw in the GF run, She's put on a lot of muscle in her legs and was starting to really roll at Souths before the ACL.

The quality for 19s with Bears vs Jets for the first game of the year compared to where it was even last year is pretty great to see on a hot day as well... There were worse NRLW games then that last year, Quite a lot of our girls in the team and one I hope we've signed is Brianna Toopi, Absolutely carved up like her dad and was dominating setting up or scoring.

Grace King is a prop signed in the Bears 19s.

Chantay off to the Sharks.

Watched the Tweed 17s and 19s, The 19s team is as deep as the MM one when you look into the accolades.

Not surprised with the Savannah + Torah coming through, Savannah is more then ready for NRLW + Lailani is there as well.

If people haven't seen Savannah or Phoenix-Hippi they are in for a treat as well as how they improve our team, Savannah is the best half I've seen in the girls game at playmaking including NRLW which is mainly what I've seen and is basically the most hyped girl in the country in either code, She's the next evolution of the womans game skill wise.

Phoenix-Hippi is similar to Chappo but much more agile and skilled, Has footwork and strength to burst the line and then she's gone.

Joshalynn Walker is another freak talent coming through, She got potm in the 17s trial against Knights but is playing u19s for Tweed at fullback but occasionally switching with Phoenix. Had a try of the year contender of a Savannah kick on their own 10m line after she forced an error in defence and another one backing up Phoenix when she beat 3/4. Not a lot of her right now but she looks as good as it gets talent wise.

Emily Bass, Georgia Sim, Hailee-Jay Ormond-Maunsell, Malaela Sua and Zara Canfield also not resigned for the 2025 NRLW season

Not sure I’m stoked we let go of Chantay.

Local product who has some pretty unique ability to her game

Lot of girls dominate the pathway grades but it doesn’t translate that well and halves are probably top of that list

Sounds like the she wanted to move to Sydney with her sister, Tigers were in talks with her a while ago + the article said opportunity so I think she got told she wasn't starting which makes sense with Loz + she did her ACL to as well. Chantay and Loz Brown worked in 2023 but we got by on defence and heart really where as I think they are two similar of players now, Chantay is straight up a 7.

I think she has some pretty big issues defensively as well, She doesn't seem to like contact on either side of the ball even in with added weight at cup level.

Savannah and Phoenix have been in 19s since they were 17, Savannah just started on the wing, I think it's more the BMD comp being changed so they're getting footy into them but I'll never watch footy again if they don't translate + Pretty sure they were training with the team regulary last year. Savannah is a 5/8th or centre more then 7 as well so think it will be Lailani and Pauline as injury back up at 7.

I don't think the leap is that big yet, Most of our juniors have come basically straight from 19s to bmd in less less then 5/6 games and been some of our better performers or we seem to have a very good success rate and most of the girls look ready when they come in especially in the halves and those two would be in cup if the schedule hadn't changed. These girls have had the best training now since they were young compared to the older girls.

Torah looks close to the same height as Chantay while being bigger and most coaches mention her IQ and kicking game being way beyond her years and I quote CM from the weekend where she showed real pace on a full length intercept and set up 2, "Has a show and go similar to JT" hahahahha, She looks/sounds a lot more athletic than Chantay tbh and tackles well, Plays fullback as well for Keebra and QLD city a year down.
