A mix of rising young stars, experienced Cup campaigners and a sprinkling of worldly travellers will make the Tweed Heads Seagulls their home next season.

Inaugural Queensland Under 20 State of Origin representative Brandon Tago (Roosters NYC) and Macauley Dawson, Nathan Portelli and Ethan Price (all from the Gold Coast NYC) head the contingent of young players, while Doug Hewitt (Mackay Cutters), Sam Meskell (Burleigh Bears) and Mark Offerdahl (Illawarra Cutters) have all been Cup regulars.

A number of players will be returning “home” to the club after stints away, with Shaun Carney (Norths Devils), Jake Leary (Illawarra Cutters) and Tom Dawney (Philadelphia Fight) amongst those coming back to the coast.

While the list of gains is extensive, the Seagulls have a lot of experience to make up, with skipper Matt King (retired), Cory Blair (Bilambil) and Tom Merritt (NSW Sevens) just some of the key players who have parted with the club in the off-season.

Young NZ boy who trialled for the NYC squad will play Colts for Tweed. No names feel free to figure it out for yourselves

Expect the Seagulls Colts side to be very impressive in 2015, with a few boys from NZ and NSW country coming into the side, maybe a few who could find themselves around the NYC squad by the end of the year, especially in the outside backs

Anyone know how the Seagulls Colts went in the weekend??

Burleigh Fogs colts went down to Sunshine Coast, but QCup won convincingly.

Sounds like Tweed got off to a good start, beating the Dolphins 44-28.

Interested to hear how LG, Crampton and Li went

LG with a try and a few try assists to go with it. If highlights are anything to go by then he's handled the step up to Qcup well, good to see

Looked like a good hit out for Tweed & LG looked to handle it with ease , some very good short balls from Big Sirro & a few big shots too

LG looked like he had plenty of time and seemed to be in control, it shouldn't be long before he is plying this in the NRL

Tweed game televised this weekend

Make sure you all watch to see LG, Ingram, Crampton, Li, Srama and Robinson all lining up for them

Levi Li looks to be making 150+ metres every game. Keeping busy. Interested to see how he goes this weekend with the televised game.
