Tweed Seagulls

Great to see Josh Bevan sign for the Tweed Heads Seagulls in 2025, Josh Bevan was a memebr of the Titans JTS progrtam before singing with the Sydney Roosters.

Josh Bevan played the 2024 season in the NSW Cup with the North Sydney Bears. Mayeb train and trial with the Titans?

This guy was such a gun back in the day

No idea how he’s been travelling at cup level down there

Great to see another former Titans JTS member centre/second rower JT Manuofetoa signing for the Tweed Heads Seagulls QCup side in 2025.

Great to see young centre/second rower Malakhi Donovan resigned with the Seagulls for the 2025 season, there his something about this powerhouse that suggests he may be on NRL team's radars by the time the 2025 season reaches its conclusion.

Hi everyone. I think based on everyone's interest, that there will be a lot of eyeballs on our feeders. So should we just keep this thread and drop the "2024" or should we start a new thread per year?

Titans confirm Hostplus Cup allocations for 2025

The Titans are pleased to confirm their Hostplus Cup allocations for the upcoming season with both the Ipswich Jets and Tweed Seagulls.

Local junior Tom Weaver headlines the Seagulls campaign in his fourth year of the Hostplus Cup; joined by new Titans fulltime train-and-trial recruits Brock Gray, Cooper Bai, Sean Mullany who will play with Tweed this year.

Ipswich have been bolstered by Jaylan De Groot's return after his breakout debut Cup season in 2024, leading to his NRL call-up in Round 26 against the Knights - notching the second fastest speed in the Telstra Premiership with 37.2km/h.

The Jets will also see a number of fresh faces in 2025, including Allan Fitzgibbon and Josh Patston who are both training with Gold Coast's NRL squad full-time.

Both teams will feature at Cbus Super Stadium during the season - Tweed hosting PNG ahead of Round 5 v Dolphins and Ipswich facing the Brisbane Tigers before Round 17 v Cowboys.

The Jets will begin their Hostplus Cup campaign against the Townsville Blackhawks at North Ipswich Reserve; whilst the Seagulls will host Wynnum Manly-Seagulls - both games being played on Saturday, March 8.
