New thread for 2025, as not far away from preseason training kicking off

Been pretty quiet about Des and his staff wonder if we will see any changes when the preseason kick off

Slightly off topic but Des et al don’t get much of a break assuming they’re all prepping for the off-season. I know we finished early, so everyone has an extra month off. My point is: in these times of CPA etc, shouldn’t the clubs that finished earlier start earlier? Just saying that I’d like to be rewarded with an extra month’s holiday for a complete fail. Then I could really return fat and unmotivated.

While a Titan? Yeah, must be? Jordan Rapana didn’t play with the Kiwis with us, but other than that can’t think of anyone close. Did Bodene Thompson sneak in early on?.

Pretty awesome actually, proud moment for the club and no doubt whoever was the legend that sniped him out of a North Harbour touch tournament back in the day.

Really proud of KK's rapid rise. He has star quality all over him and everyone can see it.

And it's not too bad having some Kiwi reps. They won't go on holidays during the Origin period.

Congratulations Kini! The Aussie v Kiwi Test in Christchurch is gonna be a banger. And hopefully a sign of greater NZ influence and impact in the sport downunder.

Hopefully we get more news, media and coverage on this upcoming pre season. I will have to admit the coverage and secrecy was pretty poor last season from a fans perspective.

Kristian Woolf highlighting SJ & Keano as the two they (Tonga) have to stop to beat the kiwis.

Expect to see a lot more of this extra focus on Keano from opposition going into year 2 and im interested in how he handles it
